A meaningful break

Do you feel like taking a break, travelling the world, and learning about a different culture?
Spend half a year or even a whole year in Viborg, Denmark, doing sports and expanding your horizons – personally as well as geographically. The folk high school called “the Academy of physical education in Viborg” is situated in Denmark, Scandinavia.

You will experience another culture, get new friends and most importantly, get a break from regular school activities while learning other important life-skills.

At the Academy of physical education in Viborg (In Danish: Gymnastik & Idrætshøjskolen ved Viborg – in short GIV), we offer spring and fall courses for Danish and International students. Try out fitness, tumbling, rhythmical gymnastics (dance), adventure/cross, outdoor activities, kayaking, diving, swimming, soccer, handball and much more.
